1. 1Speak with the Despairing Man: Head to Hernand Farmhouse and talk to Bremer, the man who lost his cows. You will find him getting harrassed by Goldleaf Merchant Guild. Note that you can only start this in the morning, so press the "Start" prompt on the right side of the screen once you're in the area to adjust the time.
2. 2Speak with the Witness: Talk to the two witnesses nearby regarding the lost cows. The herbalist will lead you to them.
3. 3Follow the Herbalist: Call your horse and use it to follow the herbalist. He will lead you to a camp, but will not join you in your search.
4. 4Defeat the Bandits at the Camp: Clear the camp with bandits and investigate the camp afterward. You will need to use the Lantern and the Visione (Helm) to learn more.
5. 5Read the Memory on the Cows' Whereabouts: Equip the Lantern and use it near the brown tent to see faint movements and eventually learn it. You can then equip the Visione (Helm) by pressing the shortcut on the right side of the screen to view the memory in full detail.
6. 6Return to Bremer: Return to the farmhouse to report to Bremer. Tell him what happened to the cows, and that will be the end of this request.
