- 3Climb to the second floor of the tavern
- 4Enter the gambling den and find the Duo card game
- 5Play at least one round of Duo to progress the quest objective
- 6During the game, observe the dealer's behavior and cards carefully
- 7Return to Pierce at Howling Hill camp
- 8Report your assessment of the gamblers' skills to complete the quest

- The Hernand Tavern is in the main city area — easy to find from Hernand's central square
- You only need to play one round of Duo to complete this objective
- Observe dealer behavior during play — pay attention if you want to learn Card: Cheat skill
- If you successfully accuse the dealer 3 times, you'll unlock the Card: Cheat ability
