Walkthrough

1. 1Enter the boss arena at Mountain of Frozen Souls
2. 2Phase 1: Engage Devil of the Reed Field in single combat
3. 3Parry his quick slashes using L1/LB + left stick toward him — successful parries stagger him
4. 4Dodge his charging lunge attack instead of parrying — it cannot be blocked
5. 5Land light attacks during openings (consumes no stamina) and heavy attacks when staggered
6. 6Phase 2: Five Scarecrows spawn with four Devil clones — destroy all scarecrows first
7. 7Manage multiple enemy attacks simultaneously — dodge and counter when safe
8. 8Phase 3: A second Devil appears during the fight — avoid red energy waves by rolling sides
9. 9Continue parrying and counter-attacking until final defeat sequence triggers

Tips

• Stock up to 100 Grilled Meats before the fight — you'll need massive healing supplies
• Parrying is essential — most of the Devil's attacks can be parried for significant damage
• The charging lunge attack must be dodged, not parried — learn to recognize it
• Light attacks consume no stamina — use them liberally while healing or waiting for openings
• In Phase 2, prioritize destroying Scarecrows first to reduce enemy pressure
• In Phase 3, watch for red energy waves and roll perpendicular to them to avoid damage
• Upgrade your armor before the fight — quality gear significantly impacts survivability
